I could honestly spend twenty-four hours, seven days a week with this program. I could marry this program, but lets not get carried away. This program will help my future a great deal, and I can do things with this program you wouldn't believeeee. If you don't have it/have never used it, http://www.adobe.com, you can download the 30-day trial. Its a lot to digest so maybe starting with some tutorials would be a good idea: http://www.tutorialized.com. The best site for tutorials. Point? Photoshop CS3 equals love. Hands down.
